Bayern Brewing, Inc.

Bayern Brewing creates a fine selection of microbrews, with all stages of its beer production completed start to finish in Missoula. Step into the tasting room decked out in the Bavarian style and snack on German treats such as pretzels and brats while you sip. Try the Bayern Amber, Pilsner, Dancing Trout and other local favorites. The tasting room is open year-round, from 10 am – 8 pm Monday through Friday, and noon – 8 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Brewery tours available by appointment.

Big Sky Brewing Co.

Big Sky Brewing Company brings such favorites as Moose Drool Brown Ale, Scapegoat Pale Ale, Summer Honey Seasonal Ale and more to the locals and beyond. Sample these and others in the taproom, open year-round from 11 am – 6:30 pm Monday through Friday, Saturday from 11 am – 6 pm, and Sunday from 11 am – 5 pm. Drop by to fill a growler and take a tour of the brewery.

Kettlehouse Brewing Co.

Kettlehouse Brewing Company makes such regional favorites as Cold Smoke Scotch Ale, Double Haul IPA, Eddy Out Pale Ale and other great tasting brews. Seasonal choices are also available as well as brews found only in Kettlehouse’s two local taprooms. Don’t forget to pick up “schwag” items including shirts, growlers, mugs and pint glasses.

Iron Horse Brewery

Iron Horse Brewery is a popular Missoula brew pub, especially with locals returning from a day of fly fishing or rafting. It serves up local brews from Bayern Brewery, Big Sky Brewery, and Kettlehouse brewery as well as exotic cocktails with names like “Martian Urine Sample."

Sean Kelly's

On West Pine Street, Sean Kelly's features 16 microbrews and imports on tap, including locally brewed Kettlehouse, Big Sky, and Bayern beers as well as wildly popular Fat Tire. Nightly entertainment, including euchre night, adds to Sean Kelly's appeal.

The Old Post Pub

This popular Missoula pub serves up great food including big brunches on Saturdays and Sundays and offers local Big Sky Brewing beers for just $2.75 during Happy Hours. As well as microbrews, enjoy a selection of bottled beer, wines, and spirits.

Rhinoceros

The Rhinoceros, or what locals call the "Rhino," enjoys a huge following, especially with University of Montana students, for its 52 beers on tap which includes many local microbrews.

Missoula Ale House

The Missoula Ale House, on Higgins Avenue, is also a good watering hole for Montana microbrews, including Blackfoot River Beer brewed in Helena.
