Please join Hamilton in celebrating the Christmas season with a traditional Lighting of the Tree Ceremony. Take a carriage ride, visit shops and warm up next to the burning barrels. Santa Claus joins the fun, bending an ear to the children and posing for photographs. On your way to Santa's lap, stop and look at the unique gifts at our many Hamilton shops.

Overview: The highlight of the celebrations at the Christmas in Hamilton is the Parade of Lights that participants remember for a long time. The parade is held on the first evening and it leads to the traditional Tree Lighting ceremony. Another great attraction is the carriage ride that can take you back a 100 years to another time. You do not want to miss out on that too.

Details: On Friday the event is kicked off at 10 am and it comes to a close at 8 in the evening. The next day it is between 10 in the morning to 4 pm.

There are plenty of stores all around that sell unique gifts that you can take back as a memorabilia. Some of them offer local arts and crafts and this is an opportunity to view some contemporary designs. There is music too and great food to make it just the perfect evening.
