This historic Montana rodeo features professional cowboys from across the Northwest, who compete to win money and earn their place in the National Rodeo Finals.   Events start with a children's parade at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 7. Slack follows at 9 a.m. Sunday morning.  The official rodeo parade runs down Drummond's Front Street at Noon. At 2 p.m., the main event kicks off, with fanfare, audience participation, bullfighters and a 50/50 raffle. The event features saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, tie down roping, team roping and bull riding. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 to 10 at the gate. Children 5 and under are free. Outside the arena there are food stands, a beer garden and picnic tables.   Drummond's Roughstock Saloon will host a street dance after the rodeo. Take I-90 or MT Highway 1 to Drummond. Go to center of town, then south 0.75 of a mile to the American Legion Goldstar Post 125 Rodeo Grounds. All proceeds support Drummond Kiwanis Club charity projects.
