HardTimes Bluegrass Festival takes the place of the once popular Bitterroot Bluegrass Festival. Showcasing bluegrass and gospel musicians from all over the northwest - including local performers from Ravalli and Missoula counties - "old-timey mountain" feel that features traditional bluegrass music. Our festival is an affordable family friendly gathering geared towards having good clean fun while celebrating the joys and sounds of traditional bluegrass music.

- Camping is available in the trees on a first come- first serve basis.

Overview: If you happen to be anywhere near Hamilton, Montana, do not miss out on the Hard Times Music Festival. You will find the best Bluegrass Music in the state. Listen to the featured groups from both coasts and also from the Rocky Mountain area. Several professional groups attend the fest making this an event in the valley.

Details: The Hard Times BlueGrass Festival kicks off Friday night and comes to a close by Sunday evening. Bring your friendsm kids and lawn chairs for food, fun, kids bluegrass, and great music under the Big Sky.
Although the campgrounds are provided with running water and restroom facilities, the camping area is rather dry, i.e. there are no water, sewer or electricity hookups and costs $10 for the weekend. Do remember that alcohol, illegal drugs and pets are taboo during the fest days. However, people attending with pets can avail of designated dry camp sites on first come, first served basis.
