Overview
Housed in the old brick courthouse near downtown Hamilton, the Ravalli County Museum’s mission is to preserve and display historic, cultural and natural artifacts from the Bitterroot Valley and its past and current residents. Exhibits and collections include Native American pieces as well as artifacts from Montana’s first white settlement at Stevensville. Bring your family and learn about everything from early rodeos to mining and logging and charismatic valley inhabitants.

The Ravalli County Museum is located on the corner of Bedford and 3rd, just two blocks from downtown Hamilton, Montana and 47 miles south of Missoula.
From Missoula, travel 10 miles on US-12 W before continuing 36 miles on US-93 S. In Hamilton, turn right onto Bedford Street.
