Overview

For easy access, Missoula tennis offers a variety of tennis courts that are scattered throughout the city. When the sun is shining grab your racquets and hit the many outdoor courts. When the weather turns ugly, no problem, just head indoors for a game. Tennis is a timeless sport for people of all ages.

Where to Play Tennis in Missoula

  • Playfair Park: Located off Bancroft and Pattee Creek, this massive park is full of recreational opportunities. In addition to the twelve outdoor, hard surface tennis courts, there are multiple baseball diamonds, basketball courts, soccer fields, and a track.
  • University of Montana Robert O. Lindsay Tennis Center: You will find nine, outdoor, hard surface courts on the U of M campus, located near the University Center.
  • Bonner Park: Centrally located on the corner of Ronald and Evans Avenue, Bonner Park offers two decently maintained outdoor courts.
  • Kiwanis Park: This park offers two, outdoor courts. Located at Clay and Kiwanis, near the University.
  • Valley Christian School: This public school, located at Reserve St. and Sunset, offers
    four outdoor public courts. Available for use when the school tennis team is not practicing.
  • Big Sky High School: When the school isn't practicing, feel free to use the four, outdoor public courts. Located at South Ave West and 33rd Avenue.
  • Peak Health and Wellness Center: This private health club recently opened a state of the art, racquet club which offers five indoor courts and three outdoor courts. You can purchase a day pass for $20 without a member or for $15 with a member. Passes are good at both the gym and in the racquet club. Located at 5000 Blue Mountain Road.
